It is amazing how stories can take a sudden emotional trip, when the words pour from the fingers onto the keyboard and something happens on the screen before you. It has happened before but differently, I've known before what would happen in a story and cannot type fast enough as the thoughts flow, yet today is something else. A complete change in a story I thought somewhat difficult to take but on the level with a certain reality. As a writer these unexpected paths down a darker section of the forest can lead to some exhilarating revelations about what we believe and who we are. Don't get me wrong, I am not writing a autobiography in any means yet there is a large part of who I am inside these characters. Then again something else can be found, something unexpected, something I fail to recognize as my previous experiences in life. This is fiction after all and don't all writers tell the tales with a certain amount of falsehoods? But when something happens to the writer, the reader or anyone because of a story, that is unexpected, what can we attribute this experience too?
